Ways to Help Pet Welfare
WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF DEDICATED, CARING VOLUNTEERS!
If yes, click here for instructions and more information on becoming a volunteer.
Volunteers come in every day of the week, including holidays, to make sure the
dogs are fed, walked, socialized, and clean any areas that the dogs sleep in or spend the day. We have a morning shift (typically
starts about 7:00am) that lets all the dogs out in the morning and an evening shift (typically starts about 4:00pm) that puts them
back to bed. The shifts will typically last about 2 hours depending on the number of volunteers on the shift and the amount of dogs
at the kennel
Volunteers come in every day of the week, including holidays, to make sure the cats are fed, socialized, and clean all litter
boxes. We have a morning shift and an evening shift.
Volunteers come in Monday - Saturday, 9:00am - 1:00pm, excluding holidays to
answer phones, show animals to prospective adopters, and perform office administrative duties.
100% of all monetary donations go directly to maintaining the shelter and providing a safe and healthy enviroment for the animals while they are waiting to be adopted into a forever home of their own.

There are many ways for you to provide financial support to Pet Welfare so that we may continue to provide a no-kill home to as many abandoned and unwanted cats and dogs as possible.
They are your best source when looking for a pet. We have a great selection of cats and dogs that are already spayed or neutered and up to date on all their shots.
At Pet Welfare we screen all animals that come to our shelter. We ensure every animal is evaluated for temperament. The volunteers give special to every "new" resident to the shelter to make them feel at home during their adjustment period. During the interview process the adopter will ask many questions to ensure that the pet you are thinking about adopting is the best match for you, your family, and situation. We take each and every adoption very seriously and look for that last forever home for our pets.
Come in and meet our community of cats and dogs. We're sure if you are ready to adopt that we have the right pet for you and your family.
